The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor with a specialization in naval and/or military history. Geographical area and chronological focus are open, but the candidate will be expected to teach a core course on American naval history. The successful candidate will also be able to offer upper-level courses in her or his field of specialization. Ph.D. in history required, teaching experience and publications preferred.
